The
Problem
Current latrines have many issues

no ventilation
-
no maintenance
-
frequent flooding, so there is biohazardous waste everywhere

people fall in because of collapses
-
not accessible to everybody
Our Solution
With the pit moved from under the latrine to next to it, we reduce the hazard of collapsing concrete. We are also implementing a ventilation system with a slanted roof to prevent flooding. The bathroom stalls will still have squat toilets to remain culturally appropriate.
Our Progress
Through the hard work of our local contractors and sponsors. Our design is currently being implemented in real time!
